Lauren has focused her practice in the area of corporate reorganization. She has represented both secured and unsecured creditors as well as debtors and other parties in interest in many high profile chapter 11 proceedings. In addition, Lauren has extensive experience working on various types of structured and project finance transactions. Lauren began her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Novalyn L. Winfield, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the District of New Jersey. Prior to joining Frejka PLLC, Lauren practiced at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP and Thacher Proffitt & Wood LLP in both the bankruptcy and structured finance groups.
